Hi everyone! Today’s post is all about this super cute orange striped sweater from Idol Collective, a local boutique online shop based out of Seattle. Although Idol Collective has a small selection, you can tell that the owner, Sonya, carefully curates pieces that are very reflective of the Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese fashion trends. You’ll find lots of cute, quirky and feminine pieces like these adorable tights! PS, there’s a GIVEAWAY at the end of this post so don’t miss out!
This orange striped sweater from the Idol Collective totally drew my attention. Let me tell you, I’m usually not even an orange person (unless it’s an orangesicle HEHE), but there was something about it that I really liked! Maybe it’s the chiffon like layers or that I love casual chic clothes. Either way, this is a fun twist to a classic striped sweater and definitely grabs your eye with the color! I’m wearing a Small and it fits well on my 5’4″ 110 lbs petite frame. The striped sweater fits slightly oversized, which I love, and is extra long in the back, another bonus! The chiffon hem also curves in the back, creating a pretty flow when you walk!
Since this striped sweater is such a statement piece, I kept everything else very neutral. I’m loving my new BLANKNYC skinny ripped jeans (under $100) and this mini faux leather tote (I carry the regular size ALL the time!). A pair of lace up pumps also never hurt anyone. Here’s a super similar pair that I’m eyeing.
UPDATE: Thanks so much to everyone that participated in the giveaway! Congrats to Sansa T. for winning the $50 Idol Collective gift card and happy shopping!
Don’t worry if you didn’t win – Sonya is also offering you guys a LIFETIME 15% discount code to her shop!!! Use code Tina15 and let me know if you have any questions!
