Out of my New Orleans posts that I’m planning, this is no doubt my absolute favorite. My pink wall dreams all came true ya’ll! And it was even more perfect with this pretty floral wrap dress!
I wore this floral wrap dress during my first couple of days in New Orleans when we explored the French Quarter and grabbed beignets at the iconic Cafe du Monde. It was seriously so hot and humid, but this dress was great for the weather. It’s light and airy and makes you look dressed up without trying. It’s also right under $70 and made with of high quality fabric. I’ve already washed it a few times without any issues!
To put on the dress, you slip it on, and then wrap the dress in front of your chest and tie a bow in the back. I see that the dress model also tied it in the front, but I can’t figure out how to do that yet hehe. For reference, this wrap dress fits true to size and I’m wearing an XS. I’m 5’4” and the dress hits a little below my knees. If you’re a taller girl, this floral wrap dress would be perfect for you!
I’m glad I didn’t have to style this dress much cause it was way too humid to wear a lot of accessories. I just went with these Steve Madden Irenee ankle strap sandals. They were basically the only shoes I wore during my entire trip since they’re simple, go with every outfit, and practical! I also added a pop of red with this little cross body. I found ones similar here and here.
New Orleans has so many charming and beautiful photo spots like this. What are some of your favorite or dream places you want to take photos at? I would love to know!
