Who else has had those days where it feels like you have absolutely nothing to wear? I know you’re raising your hand. Well, do I have a treat for you. Thacker NYC designed a collection of 67 wardrobe staples, including this gorgeous suede skirt, that allows you to mix and match to create over 600,000 unique outfits! How crazy and cool is that? The brand truly stands behind quality essentials that help simplify women’s lives and making getting dressed easier!
Today’s outfit with Thacker NYC is all about textures. I’ve actually never worn suede except on boots before, but I’m always ready to take on a styling challenge. You can say I’m easily per-sueded 😉 but this challenge wasn’t hard to accept, especially since it had to do with this cute (faux) suede skirt!
When wearing new textures that you’re not sure about, stick with items that have a classic silhouette. For instance, this suede skirt is similar to a pencil skirt but with a shorter length. The suede material adds a fun twist, making the skirt very chic and modern. For reference, I’m wearing an XS and it fits true to size, although the waist could be slightly slimmer to make it more flattering. The fabric is super soft and feels very high quality. I could just rub it on my face forever (is that weird?)!
Going with the Asian per-suede-sian theme (hehe I had to!), there’s a lot of suede going on this outfit. In addition to the suede skirt, I’m also loving my new suede bag from Thacker NYC. The rose color is so pretty for fall, but if you’re not a rose kind of gal, the bag comes in four other colors as well. Plus, you can carry it by the gold ring handles or there’s a leather shoulder strap so that you can turn it into a crossbody or shoulder pouch.
Last but not least, I’m rocking this black tank from Thacker NYC. It’s a classic top that will never go out of style. It’s very comfortable and perfect for layering under leather jackets and other coats. I would size up since it runs small.
