What a crazy last week and a half it’s been! We booked a spontaneous trip to Hong Kong (three days before the flight), came home for less than 24 hours, and jetted off again to Dallas for a blogger conference! When you’re at a blogger conference, there is definitely pressure to always dress to the nines. I’m excited to be sharing these two Marks & Spencer dresses that were sent to me just in time for the conference!I love that both Marks & Spencer dresses are completely different from one another. The plaid dress is cute and chic, and reminds me of a laid back summery day (summer picnic, anyone?). I just love the flattering fit-and-flare fit and the slightly puffed sleeves! On the other hand, the lace dress is a beautiful dressy number, which I wore to one of the cocktail parties at the conference. The color is stunning (available in other colors too!) and the lace details are gorgeous. The quality is amazing and I love the silky lining. The fabric is a little heavier and feels very high quality, yet the lace is still delicate and beautiful. This would definitely be a great dress for a bridesmaid or wedding guest (check for more wedding guest outfit ideas)!
For reference, I’m wearing size UK 8 in both Marks & Spencer dresses. Since I haven’t ordered from this brand before, I used their size calculator to determine my size based on height and weight. Although it was determined I was a UK 8, which worked out fine, I think the UK 6 would have fit much better. So for me, the sizing ran slightly big and I could’ve sized down. If you’ve never ordered from them before either, I would recommend ordering multiple sizes to see how the brand fits on you. However, note that there is a small return fee for returning within the US.
If you’ve never heard of Marks & Spencer before, they are a huge retailer in the UK. While traveling in Hong Kong, I actually saw their stores, especially their food marts, all over the city! It was really cool to see a brand that I’m partnering with have such a big presence abroad! Their prices are affordable and the quality is great for the price!
