Never met a stripe I didn’t like and this striped sweater is definitely no exception! I just can’t get over how cute it is. It’s a little out of my usual price range for tops, but this was too adorable to pass up on.
I wore this striped sweater about two weekends ago when we got our first glimpse of spring sunshine (it’s been the longest and wettest winter ever!). We were so excited and took full advantage of the sunshine to get tulips, walk around the city, and, of course, my favorite activity ever – grab bubble tea. I’ve always been a honey milk tea kind of girl, but my new obsession is taro milk tea (yum!). We also got our first taste of cherry blossoms this year. They are fully bloomed all over the city now and I can’t get enough of them. Beware – many more photo shoots with cherry blossoms to come :).
This striped sweater has been the perfect addition to my casual chic spring wardrobe. I love that it’s fairly lightweight, mostly made of cotton, and super comfortable to wear. You know that I have a thing for layered-look sweaters and this one is so unique with the contrasting horizontal knit stripes against the vertical woven stripes. For reference, I’m wearing an XS and it fits true to size. I plan to re-style this top with shorts when it gets warmer!
I surprisingly have never heard of the brand THML Clothing before. I just discovered them through Nordstrom and I’m totally loving their playful, nautical collection. Think lots of stripes, tassels, and embroidery! I’m eyeing this striped tee and this gingham top.
The next couple of weeks are going to be insane for me. We are about to book a super last minute flight to Hong Kong as I’m writing this post (I always write my posts the night before), departing next Wednesday! The next day after coming back from Hong Kong, I’ll be heading to Dallas for rewardStyle The Conference as well. If you have any recommendations for either cities, I would so appreciate it since we don’t have much time to plan this time around!
