Our Seattle Outdoor Wedding Recap!!

Our wedding photos are here!!! We had a blast reliving this unforgettable day through all of these beautiful photos from Sam and Sola. Our wedding was so much more than we ever expected and it was very rewarding to see how everything turned out since Jeff and I planned this entire Seattle outdoor wedding ourselves! It truly was the best day of our lives and I’m excited to recap our wedding day with 23 of my favorite photos from beginning to end. Let’s do this!!!!

Wedding Invite

You are cordially invited to the recap of our Seattle outdoor wedding on August 31, 2019! hehe We got our invites through Minted and this invitation design is what inspired our whole wedding theme of mauve, gold, and white! We love how elegant and simple it is!

Getting Ready Photos

Rise and shine – my bridesmaids and I woke up at the crack of dawn to get our hair and makeup did! Then we headed over to our gorgeous venue, Rock Creek Gardens, where we took getting ready photos in our silky robes. I was honored to have my mom and Matron of Honor by my side as I put on my wedding gown. We showed my bridesmaids my final look and I just love how sweet their expressions were for our bridesmaids first look! Meanwhile, Jeff was getting ready downstairs with his groomsmen. How handsome and dapper do they all look in their sleek tuxes from The Black Tux?

First Look

Ahhhh, the moment where I finally get to see my GROOM! We were so overwhelmed with happiness that we were about to forever be husband and wife! We hugged, he cried, and we kissed!

Bridal Portraits

Shortly after the first look, we took some bridal portraits just the two of us. It started raining (the biggest risk of having a Seattle outdoor wedding!) and, at first, we were like NO WAY IS THIS HAPPENING. It’s been sunny and perfect all week! Sam and Sola tried to take our minds off the rain so we went to get our adorable fur babies! How cute do they look with their floral dog collars?! They made us feel so much better and these photos of the five of us are now my absolute favorite of our entire wedding album!

Wedding Party Photos

Thank goodness the rain passed after 20 minutes and we were blessed with beautiful weather the rest of the day and evening! We took wedding party photos and, wow, our bridesmaids and groomsmen look BOMB!

Ceremony

Alright everyone, get into formation! It’s time to walk down the aisle and line up. Some of my favorite parts include Tails and Chewy getting pulled in a wagon (which Jeff spray painted for the wedding) and my dad and Boba walking me down the aisle! Of course, I loved when we exchanged our funny and emotional vows and made forever promises to each other. Jeff shed a lot of tears during his and made the whole audience cry with him! Meanwhile, I said things like, “you are the boba to my bubble tea, thanks for loving me even with my stinky breath and farts.” LOL

Reception Details

After cocktail hour, it was time to head to the reception! I picked out cream linen and gold chiavari chairs, flatware, and chargers. Since I rented the items from two different places, I never got to see the full look. When I walked to the reception tent, I was blown away with how it all turned out! My vision really came to life for our Seattle outdoor wedding and everything was so classy and glamorous! My brother made the incredible donut wall and it looked AH-MAZINGGG!

Sunset Photos

While our guests were digging into a 7-course Vietnamese dinner and all night open bar, we snuck off and changed into our wedding reception outfits for sunset photos. Our venue has a cute row boat and it was perfect for photos, although Jeff almost paddled us into the fountain lol!

Special Dances

This was everyone’s favorite part of the night. My cousin and her husband sang Can’t Help Falling In Love while we had our first dance under the patio lights. Jeff and his mom had a beautiful, emotional Mother Son dance. My dad and I danced to My Girl (a song he used to sing to me growing up), and then we surprised everyone with a hip hop choreographed dance! My dad is 70 years old and everyone went crazy when he pulled out his STUNNA shades! It definitely set the mood for an epic dance party the rest of the night!! Send Off

Last but not least, we had Domino’s for our late night snack. If you guys know us, it’s our all-time FAVORITE pizza. More late night snack ideas from WeddingWire here. A sparkler send off made for the perfect end to the most fun and incredible day of our lives!
